Can we use non-Google models?
Yes. Vertex AI Model Garden gives access to Gemini alongside third-party and open models such as Claude, Llama and Mistral, and our architectures let you switch models per task.
Is our data used to train Google’s models?
Under Google Cloud’s enterprise terms for Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, your prompts and data are not used to train Google’s foundation models. Data can be kept in EU regions with your own access controls.
